Youth coaching offerings
Hello,
I am Nikki, I am a mother, an integral coach, facilitator, wellbeing practitioner and forest school leader.
I am super passionate about supporting young people’s personal development through life skills so they can have a strong sense of self. This is something I longed for during my own adolescence.
Being neurodivergent myself, I struggled in school due to never fitting in a box and thinking and existing in an atypical way.
Today, this is a part of me I celebrate and bring into my work blending into my coaching and facilitation a range of modalities and approaches including: Wellbeing and mental health care, nature connection, trauma informed and positive psychology.
I bring creative, embodied, safe spaces, along with practical tools for young people to overcome the challenges they face during adolescence as well as building a toolbox to support them thrive and flourish.

🍃 Wild & Well is a programme blending together forest school and personal development aimed at young people (age 11-18).
It aims to support young people’s wellbeing and sense of belonging through cultivating a relationship with themselves, a trusted community and nature-connectedness. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in a Wild Activity/ forest school activity - such as going for mindful walks, building a fire, cooking on fire, foraging, wild games, storytelling, nature crafts, working with wood & natural materials and tools. In addition each session the group will reflect on a key developmental theme - (relationships, navigating conflict, life choices, how to support their wellbeing, identity, their concerns and hopes for the state of the world and the planet).
Adolescence is a chaotic time, hormonal changes, schools under-resourced to support mental health crisis, long waiting lists in CHAMS for mental health support, screen addiction, being named as the ‘nature deficient’ generation and a lack of trusted adults in young people’s lives. The program addresses all of these needs. It gets young people off their screens, into nature, in a safe and nurturing space, a form of Social Prescribing.
So what are essential life skills?
Self-awareness(knowing how to navigate one’s own feelings, needs and emotions)
Emotional Intelligence (how we show up with others, exploring boundaries)
Self-discovery (unlocking your values, passions, strengths and purpose).
Self-responsibility (taking ownership of your actions, goals and intentions)
Self Empowerment: (How you tend to my whole self through holistic self care through wellbeing rituals)
A little more about what I stand for and bring into my work:
Holistic: We are whole beings made up of our mental, physical, social, environment and emotional
Freedom: As an unschooling family, I care about consent based learning and spaces where young people can really have agency over their lives.
When working with young people I want them to feel included, that their voice matters. They are free to be their full selves as well as learn to take command of their own lives no matter what may be happening around them.
Creativity: I weave creativity into my coaching and facilitation as a live and experiential way of learning. This includes: visualisation, free writing, imagination, nature crafting and connection , movement, sculpting and constellations.
Purpose: Helping people to self discover their values, passions and live a purpose based life contributes to their wellbeing:
Nature connection: Forming a connection to the natural world, how we engage with it and relate with it. Spending time in nature and all the benefits that come with it on a physical and psychological level as well as the impact it makes on how we treat our natural world.
About me….
Hi I am Nikki ,I am a mother following an unschooling pathway. I am an integral coach, facilitator, wellbeing practitioner and forest school leader.
I co founded The Visionaries and Grief Guides peer lead and youth empowerment movements. I believe we can all play a role in being the village that raises our children to flourish and grow in our ever changing world. If we adults, parents and elders tend to ourselves and how we evolve , we can show up and be there fully for our young people. My passion is spending time in nature as our container and teacher, creating safe, non judgmental spaces to witness and be witnessed and empower ourselves and our youth through self discovery and personal development’
Being neurodivergent myself, I do not fit in a box, I come from and bring many modalities and very much celebrate my differences as a strength and invite those I work with to do the same.
I have a background in positive psychology, social action, youth work and community organising. I have worked for over 20 years with young people in both formal and informal settings. I am trained as a professional integral coach, qualified Trauma & Mental Health informed school practitioner and a teen yoga teacher.
